Whether it’s your first time reading, or you’re a seasoned vet, this article goes up and down the DraftKings or Fan Duel’s salary list, and talks about plays and strategies that could be “against the grain.” If you’re not a golfer, putting against the grain is the reference to the way a “green” is cut and if one is going “against the grain” you’re putting away from it.

Recap of Last Week’s Article

The top price category- One the money with my stack recommendation.

Second price category- Well JT missed the cut, but had you played grace with some Spieth Casey you would have cashed.

Third- Pieters and Berger proved to be a nice stack.

Fourth- Kjedslen Beef Poulter was MONEY

Fifth- Ramasy and Lovemark were the first two guys  mentioned

$8,000 & Above:Need a few more so we dip to 8k.

8 guys fit this category:
Highest Owned: DJ -40%

Lowest Owned:  Lee- 10%
GTA (Game Theory Analysis): Well DJ will certainly see a spike now after plenty of industry people are backing him to win it. Still we need to find ways to differentiate because i’m also in that camp. I’m sure a plethora of people will go to Kuchar as well, so let’s avoid that and head down to holmes/lee/watson/hadwin… Picking one of those guys maybe 2 should give you some postive varation as most peopel will look at the DJ/Finau and DJ/Kuchar stacks.
The Top Play: DJ/Watson- i don’t know how much variance we will get from this, especially if we even through in Finau, but it may be the best here. Let’s eat the secondary chalk with Watson instead of Kuchar.

13 golfers fit this category:

Highest Owned: cantlay/ Furyk
GTA: Tough to predict Cantlay as the top owned, but reality says that  is where its heading. Interestingly Shane lowry hasn’t been talked about anywhere, but Patrick Rodgers is getting a ton of buzz. Look to guys like Graeme McDowell and McGirt to provide some positive variance in your lineups. A few other guys i expect to get some good ownership interest is :Bradley/Ollie/Woodland.
The Top Play: Man i really like the chalk here… but need some variance so we are going to go to a 5 stack, yup just about as close as you’ll get me to giving an actual lineup, with woodland/bradley/ollie/cantlay/mcdowell.

31 golfers fit this category:

Highest Owned: Tway/Cink/Chappell/DeLaet/Campbell

Lowest Owned: Over 10 guys will be under 5% owned.
GTA: I’m sure the Stweart Cink love will continue, but the one im questioning the most is Kevin Chappell. I am shocked he’s this low in this field, but it’ll certainly create a little chalk. Kevin Tway will get his normal ownership and hometown fav GDL will also get some looks. Chad Campbell will be another popular target in this area, but outside of that, there are ton’s of guys you can get at a very low ownership.
The Top Play: Summerhays/Tway I like to pair Daniel with a chalk, and Tway happens to be my favorite chalk. Also take a look at Nick Watney & Trey Mullinax.

$Below 6k –The Rest:

Top Owned Guy: Kokrak

GTA & Top Play: I really don’t see many guys here getting above 15% ownership, maybe just Kokrak. This section is littered with flier’s and just a few im looking at this week are: Sabbatini/Blaum/Bozzelli/Swafford/Munoz. Throwing these guys into some of your stacks will provide some nice positive variance for a GPP lineup.
