As with all of our content and tools here at Tour Level we aim to help you make better decisions in all of your fantasy golf/golf betting related items. The main purpose of this article his to help you “make the cut” with emphasis on cash games. For a more in depth analysis on GPP’s be sure to check out top ranked @DFSGolfer23 Jason’s Against the Grain Series on Tuesday as well as Kelly McCann’s “Chalk…or not” report due out on Wednesday.

Recap of The Memorial Invitational

Duff-Daddy! Jason Dufner came out hot on Thurs and Friday and held on for the win with an impressive Sunday.  This week we move on to the St Jude Classic in Memphis Tennessee with a relatively weak field but still has some pricing where we can find value.

Personal Results

Scottimac11 went 24-36 in Cash, hopefully you made better picks than I did, Jon Rahm missed the cut which hurt me as long as everyone else.  Our beloved Patrick Cantlay made the cut but not the finish I had hoped for. Was not the week we had hoped for from a cash standpoint

My First Lineup entered in 30 events  – 381.00

My Second Lineup entered in 30 events –  372.00

Cashing Line average from all Double Ups I played was – 385.00

Strategy Corner

Again this week we will deploy our “Normal” strategy.  We will continue to use 2 studs and fill out the last 4 spots of the lineups with guys we think will reach value.  These remaining 4 must have good recent form, good recent stats that we can spot for the Recent Form Generator, and good course history. Remember if you’re going to play the big GPPs you must play a cash game for an equal dollar amount.   I will continue you with standard 50 H2H matchups and 20-25 single entry and double ups.

Cash Game Locks

Phil Mickleson ($10,200)- Phil’s course history and this is his fill in Major because he is missing next week for his High School Daughters Graduation are two reason to fire up Phil this week. Phil has three top 5’s in his last 4 attempts here at St Jude.  Phil’s strokes gained on Approach last week were 2.04 and 2.29 On Strokes Gained from Ball Striking.  Phil is rounding into form and with no Us Open for Phil next week, no worries about an early WD

Brooks Koepka ($11,500)- Brooks is a scoring machine and loves playing here.  Coming off a 2nd place here last year and a 3rd the year before that, this should be an easy decision.   Brooks was almost 1.5 strokes gained last week in Ball Striking and almost a Full stroke on Tee 2 Grain.

Value Plays

Danny Lee ($7,200)- Danny Lee has been playing great golf the last month, at his cheap price this week you can play Danny. He is 2/2 in cuts here.  His recent form the last couple weeks since going back to his old coach have him playing, Danny Lee has putting great the last few weeks with almost a full stroke gained on the field from putting.

Stewart CInk ($8,000)- Stewart Cink is the type of cash guy we want this week, he shouldn’t have a problem making the cut, he is 3/3 here , another guy with great Ball Striking stats the last couple weeks. WE like Guys with good ball striking and good tee to green play and he was just less than a whole stroke gained on the field in both categories last week.

Rounding out the Lineups

Ryan Palmer ($9000)- While Ryan Palmer at $9,000 is usually scary, he’s ok this week, 5/5 in his last 5 events here, with a couple top 5’s mixed in.  I’m sure he’ll find the water at some point but hopefully its only once.  Almost a whole stroke gained in Ball Striking his last time out, if his putter can get hot, Ryan Palmer could have a good week

Kevin Tway ($7400)- Probably ok to go back on Tway this week, he’s been a machine lately but obviously struggled last week.  Recent stats from the Form Generator are a tad risky because of what his memorial stats were. But he still a positive Strokes gained on Ball Striking and Tee to Green.

Billy Horschel ($9500)- A little risky but his course history is outstanding.  Positive Strokes gained in all 3 stats that were important correlations.  Been great with Ball striking, with his course history being amazing we feel ok with the play.  Billy has also been on the upswing with the putter, look for Billy to start rolling em in early this week.
