Barclay’s Premier League: Match Week 3:
FanDuel early slate/DraftKings all day slate 06:30am match:
Manchester City @ ACBournemouth: ManCity -333 Favorites: 3.25 Goals expected
ACBournemouth has lost their first two matches, most recently fell 0-2 to Watford. It has been a disappointing start to the season for Joshua King the Cherries leading goal scorer in the 2016-2017 campaign. He’d still be the player off ACB to roster If you see a rebound in the future. Manchester City drew 1-1 with Everton on Eclipse Monday. Raheem Sterling scored in the 82nd minute to secure the one point for ManCity. This week: Manchester City has too many weapons for ACBournemouth and I see City winning 2-0. Young Brazilian phenom Gabriel Jesus off to a slow start for City and I see him scoring a goal this week. Kyle Walker is out with a red card. Jermain Defoe has a chance to see first premier league start for the Cherries. It sounds like summer transfer Benjamin Mendy has a chance to start as well for City. ACB is 0-2-8 in 10 previous matches v Manchester City.
Key Players: AC Bournemouth: Joshua King, Manchester City: Kevin DeBruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero
Southampton @ Huddersfield Town: Southampton slight favorite +105: 2.5 Goals expected
The Terriers didn’t play a perfect match, but newly promoted Huddersfield Town behind a goal in the 50th minute by Aaron Mooy beat Newcastle 1-0 last Saturday. Newcastle and Huddersfield played it safe the first 45 minutes before the Mooy goal. Pretty solid pressure from Mooy, Mounie, and Kachunga enough to send Huddersfield Town to 2-0. Southampton received and delivered on a penalty kick in the 93rd minute from substitute Charlie Austin to defeat West Ham 3-2. For West Ham they received their two goals from Chicharito. Manolo Gabbiadini raced by the Hammers defense to score the first goal for Southampton in the 11th minute. Tadic scored on a penalty in the 38th minute to put Southampton up 2-0. This week: Vegas sees a very close match: Southampton/Huddersfield 1-1 Draw.
Southampton: Manolo Gabbiadini (SOU 6.8K): Dusan Tadic (SOU 7.6K)
Huddersfield: Aaron Mooy (HUD 6.5K), Stevie Mounie (HUD 6.1K)
Goalie: Jonas Lossi (HUD 4.4K): Solid punt opportunity
West Ham @ Newcastle: Newcastle +137 slight favorite, 2.5 Goals expected:
Newcastle has really struggled to start the season at 0-2. Dwight Gayle their promising attacker hasn’t shown much. Substitute Joselu brought some pace in the second half for the Magpies but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Terriers goal in the 50th minute from Aaron Mooy. West Ham and their newly signed goalie Joe Hart aren’t stopping goals from being scored. The Hammers have already conceded 7 goals on the young season. A penalty conceded in the 93rd minute and conversion by Charlie Austin was enough for Southampton to defeat West Ham 3-2.
This week: Vegas lines prognosticating another close futbol match here as well. I see West Ham having enough to secure a 2-1
Newcastle: Joselu (NEW 5K), Manquillo (NEW 4K)
West Ham: Chicharito (WHU 7K), Antonio (WHU 6.7)
Swansea City @ Crystal Palace: Crystal Palace slight -110 favorite, 2.5 goals expected
The Swans secured a tie in first match v Southampton 0-0. They were hammered by Manchester United 4-0 last Saturday. Swansea played competitive for the first 45 minutes before Eric Bailly headed in the first goal. 3 goals in a three-minute succession by City broke open the match: 80th minute Lukaku, 82nd minute: Pogba, and 84th minute: Martial. Crystal Palace lost a competitive match v Liverpool 1-0 on Saturday. It was a Sadio Mane goal for the reds in the 73rd minute that ultimately defeated Crystal Palace and dropped them to 0-2. The Eagles have been outscored 4-0 on the season, and should have had a goal from Christian Benteke last week who missed from point blank. This week: Swansea City just doesn’t look threatening offensively with Gylfi Sigurdsson leaving town for Everton. I see Palace getting right winning 2-0.
Crystal Palace: Goalie: Hennessey (CP 5.2K), Townsend (CP 7.8K), Benteke (CP 7.5K), Patrick van Aanholt (CP 5.3K):
Swansea City: Jordan Ayew (SWA 5.4K), Olsson (SWA 4.4K), Tammy Abraham (SWA 4.1K):
Brighton @ Watford: Watford -109 favorite: 2.5 Goals expected:
The Watford Hornets have secured 4 points with a win v ACB last week 2-0, and a Draw 3-3 v Liverpool in match week one. The most impressive part of Watford has been their offensive attack. Brazilian transfer Richarlison scored the opening goal for Hornets in the 73rd minute last week, and Etienne Capoue as a sub for Richarlison netted the second in the 86th minute to power Watford to the solid win. Brighton was beaten soundly 2-0 by Leicester City. Goals from Okazaki in the first minute and Maguire in the 54th minute was plenty for Leicester to get past the anemic offensive attack from the Brighton Seagulls. Brighton has been outscored 4-0 on the season. This week: I like Watford to maintain solid form and win this match at least 2-0.
Brighton: Knockaert (BHA 5.6K),
Watford: Richarlison (WAT 5K), Capoue (WAT 4.1K):
Goalie: Heurelho Gomes (WAT 5.3DK):
Leicester City @ Manchester United: United -350 Favorites: 3 Goals expected:
The Red Devils are rolling with a 2-0 start, they have outscored opponents 8-0 as they sit atop the Barclay’s Premier League. United will face stiffer competition this week against Leicester City but are still huge favorites to win this week. Goals from Bailly, Lukaku, Pogba, and Martial propelled the Red Devils to the win this past weekend. David DeGea (MANU 6DK): got the victory and his second consecutive clean sheet. Anthony Martial scored his second goal in as many matches off the bench as a sub. Paul Pogba has notched a goal in both matches and Lukaku has three already. Leicester City overpowered Brighton 2-0 last weekend with a goal in the first minute by Okazaki and 52nd minute from Harry Maguire. That was the second consecutive week Okazaki netted a goal. This week: Vegas likes some goals in this match, I see United winning 4-2. I heard Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to United this week. Rich get richer.
Leceister: Mahrez (LEIC 7.4K), Jamie Vardy (LEIC 6.6K), Okazaki (LEIC 4.3K)
United: Goalie: DeGea (MAN6K): Lukaku (MAN 11.2K), Mkhitaryan (MAN 8.6K), Pogba (MAN 8.4K),
